Oh really! It's one of the worst things I've ever experienced. Unfortunately the person in question has led me on, and was my manager. He has now gone no contact (didn't provide a reason) after adding me on facebook and offering to send my CV to a job opportunity contact. I suffer from borderline symptoms, but never got a diagnosis. I'm a bit disappointed that i didn't, as I could have had access to more support.

ughh that's soooo frustrating!! mine happens to be my friend, felt like he gave me mixed signals and even though nothing romantic came out of it, he'd give me heaps of attention and then take it away which was confusing as hell to go through. @Bonniebear
ghosting sucks, sorry you had to deal with that. you deserve to be treated with respect, hoping that the next person that comes into your life gives you that respect.
would you consider getting the diagnosis sometime in the future? or are there other barriers? i think my limerence was due to the way i was brought up, mix of low self-esteem and anxious-avoidance attachment issues! but i am working on it... slowly. we deserve better.

oh and i forgot to mention a lil tip about tagging - if you wanna reply to someone, you can tag them so they get notified by typing the @ and then the username like this: @Bonniebear
hope that helps!
