Hi All
Do people tend to find weekends or weekdays harder to cope with? Or do they feel the same to cope with

@Till23 for me it's a bit of both but for different reasons. During the week I have a set routine so cope ok if everything goes to plan, but on the weekends that routine gets messed up so i struggle a bit. But lately it doesn't matter as I'm just not coping in general.

Hi @Dreamy
It’s interesting;
I think sometimes people find weekends difficult because other people are doing things with friends and family and maybe they are not.
Whereas some people find weekdays difficult because they are maybe not working or that there are no friends or family available because they are working. Also there might be sport on weekend, which is a distraction.

@Till23 it definitely hurts sometimes on weekends seeing people do things with friends and family and especially over long weekends.
I don't have friends or family so it makes no difference to me if people are busy during weekdays.

@Dreamy I suppose because I’ve recently been working I find weekdays a bit difficult currently, as I had a distraction on those days

@Till23 that's understand. It's always hard when you don't have that distraction, it's like well now what am I supposed to do.

@Till23 @Dreamy being retired and isolated technically there's not a lot of difference for me. But buses are scarce on weekends and places are shut.
I like the idea of being in a different headspace one day a week, a sort of Sabbath where I can reflect on the past week and make plans for the next - and just be kind to myself and the universe in general.

I agree @Dimity you can make your own “weekend” on any day. I think having at least a day of rest and reflection is also good.
As you say, the world is not on a 24/7 week, so there are differences in days.

How is your rehabilitation going @Dimity
Have you been able to sort out your help?

I'm muddling along thanks @Till23 , doing a bit more. Very disappointed most gardening will be beyond me. Household help has restarted but doesn't do much. I'm still trying to figure it all out.
