I dream every night realy anytime I sleep. Good and bad very intense, intricate story lines multiple dreams every night. I wake up physically and mentality exhausted. Take me half the day to get over them.

This happens to me also. Sometimes it's hard to know if a dream was real or not as it's so vivid and intricate. I also have dreams where I'll know I am dreaming and can talk to people, walk around, make decisions, etc... I Sometimes know I'm dreaming and am aware that I'm about to wake up, and then I wake up, only to then wake up in another dream without realising that I'm still dreaming. Only when I wake from that do I realise I was dreaming in a dream, if that makes any sense.
And I will dream about something really vivid, and then follow on that dream the next night, week or sometimes months later.

There are some techniques for recognising vivid dreams, one that I recall is pressing your index finger into the palm of your hand.
Something about touch being impossible for the dreaming mind to mimic.
I'd recommend looking up vivid dreams and how to recognise them, there were multiple things but I can't remember them. ❤️
