Gosh @Bunniekins ... 8 hours sleep ... Yay! I expect it would feel great to get that much needed sleep. You must be doing something right, so well done. No, I didnt sleep well at all, as is becoming the norm for me.
Yes I love the sound of kookaburra's. We get a lot of them here, although I havent heard them lately. We have a pair of them come almost every day here and sit just behind our back deck where we have a rose arch. They like to sit on it and look for grubs or something in the chip underneath it. It also is only about 10 metres from our fish pond, so it bothers me that they may have their beady little eyes on my goldfish. 😵🐠🐟 But I do love the sound of kookaburra laughter when they are in full throttle.
I hope you have a gret day too, my most favourite pea. Hello also to everyone else here, including but not exclusively, @MDT @TAB @Ant7 @Meowmy @outlander @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @BlueBay

@Former-Member Hi Sherry hoping you can have some cat naps throughout the day
xxxxps: yes maybe a few lily pads might do the trick to keep those 'beady eyed' kookaburras away from your goldfish

Yes @Bunniekins , I will try to get a cat nap in after lunch. I do have some lily pads in my fish pond, and also a piece of mesh to protect the fish. But the mesh only covers half the boat, so it the kookas are clever they can still come up trumps. So far though, they are fine.
