It is essential to stop self-sabotaging ourselves. Breaking a habit of self-sabotage starts with self-awareness—recognizing patterns of negative behavior and identifying triggers. Challenging self-defeating thoughts by replacing them with positive affirmations and realistic perspectives. Setting small, achievable goals to build confidence and reinforce progress. Developing healthier coping mechanisms like mindfulness, journaling, or talking to a trusted friend. We should hold ourselves accountable, but we should also practice self-compassion and understand that setbacks are part of growth.
