Hi there @Shaz51 @BlackRosemary50 @Catlady1979
How are your days going?
I'm having a bit of a cold one...my heater is broken and I'm waiting to hear back from the property manager on when it might be fixed. I've been shivering under blankets most of the day but just took myself out for a brisk 20 minute walk in the winter sun which has warmed me up as last. Maybe the solution is to just do some jumping jacks every 15 minutes or so keep the blood pumping until the heater gets fixed, I'll be saving money and getting fit 😂

I heard couple lots of down pour yesterday evening and was raining when I went to bed. Outdoor tiles this morning were still wet at 8am. Sun has been out for most of today, looks nice even if not much warmth. More rain predicted for few days time. Hoping it doesn’t rain on Wednesday due to physio appointment and no weather protection from car park into the building.

@AuntGlow I appreciate you checking-in on me! ❤️
this morning I had a shower which felt nice and refreshing, and I'm doing alright than yesterday 🙂 also gonna be starting my degree next Monday which im kinda looking forward to I think
I'm currently waiting for an electric cooktop that I ordered online yesterday to be delivered to my accomodation by either this week or early next week. My room has a gas cooktop, and even though gas is included in my rent (and not separated from the rent) my mum and I thought it would still be a good idea to use the electric one instead since its easier, and I too have found it easier to use to cook my own meals as well! 🙂

@Blackcloud Sounds like you're settling in nicely! How was Ballarat the other day? I haven't been there for over 6 months.

@Sparky79 there wasn't much there that we got to see yet, cause we got off at Ballarat station and while we walking around the area a bit there was just some shops and stuff that we walked past with. We also stayed there for only just a few minutes before we considered going back to the vline train back home again since my mum didn't have time for us to stay there for longer, as she needed to pick up my sister (who goes to a special needs school) in the afternoon. I also saw that to get from Ballarat station to the botanical gardens, it requires you to take the vline train after Ballarat station to wendouree station and then a 13 minute walk from there to the botanical gardens, but again, we didn't had time for that as the vline trains usually come like once every hour unlike the rest of the public transports. We also didn't encounter snow either lol xP

@Blackcloud still an adventure though. I hope the scenery on the train ride was nice.

@Sparky79 yes the train sceneries are the best!! we came across many different animals through it - black cows, sheeps, horses, i think i saw like 2 bulls as well? but there were definitely more cows we've encountered compared to the rest
