Re: NAIDOC wrap up

Ha How can it be a disaster @ArraDreaming if the person you made it for loved it as well as others - sounds like a roaring success!

Re: NAIDOC wrap up

It was a disaster and took us 3 goes!

but in my 4 year olds world it was the best thing hes ever seen and all the kids at the party we went to liked it so thas the main thing right?

Re: NAIDOC wrap up

That's deadly @ArraDreaming

I am so happy for you and your family

And well done on a snake cake!

Re: NAIDOC wrap up

I am finishing NAIDOC week on Monday with a visit to our cultural centre locally with my family for an Elder to give my baby a blessing and welcome her properly onto the land where we live. It feels really special to connect our little one to the country and community here.
I feel very fortunate to have found connection at a time I needed it
NAIDOC week is special to me every year but extra special this year.

OH and making a snake shaped cake today!!

NAIDOC wrap up

Thank you to all who participated.
NAIDOC week is an exciting week in the calendar and getting together to talk together and learn from each other is really important.

I hope everyone  if you didn’t have a chance to participate in the conversation had a chance to connect somewhere in person or comes back here or join in the conversations any time

What will you continue to do now after NAIDOC week, is there something you would like people to know? Something you learnt?
