i am writing on behalf of my twin brother who due to the break down of his 20+ year marriage has been subjected to physical and mental abuse from his ex wife. she tampered with his motorbike on 4 seperate occasions in an attempt to cause harm. we have cctv evidence of her actions but the QL police provided no assistance to him as a victim. this is only one of a series of abuse towards him including false accusations in the form of a DVO application made by her despite her own actions being extremely abusive and he was forced to leave his family home in fear of his own safety. the events of the past several years have taken a serious tole on his mental well being and the reason i reached out to this forum is to hopefully find him some much needed help as attempts with various other mens mental health groups have not provided any support. he is under extreme financial stress having to defend the false claims and appointing legal representation. we have been exposed to levels of bias from authorities which has aided the cause of his partner but applied extreme stress on my brother. he needs serious help and im seriously concerned for his well being and just need to be pointed in the right direction or person who can assist him. thank you in advance

I am concerned about this trend against men. @tomo67 I am sorry your family is enduring this. I have noticed a few men posting on the forums about it. Maybe Sane will accept cis white males as a vulnerable group one day. I don’t like violence, most people don’t.
I am dealing with it second hand, through my son. We have decided, it is in the best interests of my grandson not to pursue an IVO war. I am outraged at their allegations and the horror and shock of that family’s betrayals. We had been kind, caring and had lots to offer.
Keep looking.
I am disappointed that concerns for genuine DV are getting conflated with manipulative female vindictiveness. Yes females can do coercive control and DV.
