I am really confused on how I feel. My mother has just been diagnosed with brain cancer, she is 88 and we have never been very close but I don't understand why I and so worried about beening alone, well not alone but I feel that she (as a mother myself) is the only one that loves me. I do have a husband but we have been married for so long I don't feel his love any more even though he tells me he loves me but I don't feel his love. I don't have anyone other then my husband. And I have to keep having days off work. I didn't think I would be upset I just don't get it.

Hey there @ANNETTE42 ,
Hearing you there. Sometimes, we don't realise how much we care or love someone until there's a chance we may lose them. I have sure experienced this in the past.
I don't know what your situation is, but have you spoken to anyone about how you feel?

We'd be open to hearing @ANNETTE42 . We want you to feel supported on the forums when you connect with others.
We can hear that things are so hard right now and you are unsure why you feel so deeply about your mum when you never have been close in the past. Is this fair to say?

I’m sorry your mother has brain cancer. It makes sense that you fear losing her and being alone.
