@Oaktree , yes! I do understand 💜☺️

However the challenge I’m faced with is being very English, and we tend to apologise for everything haha 😁🤭🌺🙌🏻

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Oaktree  I very much agree a nice dollop of cheese sauce will complement roasted Brussels’ perfectly! The sprouts have that slight savoury flavour that a salty/sweet cheese will go perfectly with, imho ☺️

@Former-Member

Maybe I will in fact first try my Brussel sprouts with a generous dollop of cheese sauce. I will get back to you about how it went in about 4 months

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes much Tastier @Former-Member I'm glad you like cheese too...

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Shaz51, I'm well thanks. I had an interesting couple of weeks. A couple of weeks ago I saw the film " Oppenheimer" about when Robert Oppenheimer was in charge of the Manhattan Project which invented the first atomic bomb. The scientists at the time didn't have a choice, they had to invent something that would stop the most devastating war humanity had ever experienced (WW2), but the political, military, and social fallout from it was a mixture of good and utter horror, and the scientists, including Einstein were haunted for the rest of their lives by the fact their research and work was continuing to be used to do such unimaginable evil. But one of the fascinating things about atomic energy that we now know because of these people, is that it's massive, it's all over the universe, it generated the big bang. Anyway how are you and Mr. Shaz?

@Shaz51

i hope it’s not too forward of me to pop it here, however I sometimes go to

Kidney Health Australia

to have a look at what they’re up to, and they do some advocacy (the page linked above), which may be helpful when advocating for the reasons and purpose to get equipment in your area 🙂🌺

Please feel free to update how you get on 💜🙂

Re: Share a cuppa?

Looking forward to it @Oaktree  😍🌺

Re: Share a cuppa?

Well @Oaktree My parents fed me a lot of Brussel Sprouts as a child growing up- & I never liked them much because of the Bitter taste (bitter centre).

So Cheese Sauce on Brussel Sprouts would definitely take away some of that Bitter Taste.

Melted Butter on Brussel Sprouts works well too...
