@Oaktree , yes, it’ll be ok once I get used to it 🙂
I might try to build a retractor system (like the spring-loaded auto winders that work on a grip release system in vacuum cleaners that have an auto retracting power cord) which might help 🤔🌺
I have a few O2 monitors like the ones you’ve described, sitting around the house..I have ones that record data and plug into my laptop so I can send a report to the pulmonologist in case it’s really low 🙂🌺
I also have an overnight O2 monitor that plugs into the back of my ventilator overnight, which sends detailed data straight to the specialist each morning in case I’ve desaturated overnight (it will alarm if I go too low).
Thanks so much regarding being resilient - I’ve found that it’s an ongoing ‘practice’.
I initially learned how to become resilient after a major injury years ago, which changed the course of my life, and what I learned from that experience still informs what I do today 💜🌺🙂

How are you able to care for Mr Shaz if you are unwell? I am sure it’s very difficult. I hope you have someone caring for you too. Maybe you and Mr Shaz do a good job of caring for each other as do my hubby and myself. My heart goes out to you. Wish I could pop over and help you a bit

@Shaz51 yep - I’ll be T-junctioning in the oxygen line into my ventilator to supply oxygen overnight 🙂🙌🏻🌺
Thanks so much for the hugs, same for you 🤗💜🌺
oh, I’m really sorry to hear about the planning for dialysis, that’s hard. Which do you prefer? Travel, or home? ❤️🩹❤️🩹🌺
..I used to give myself infusions at home (I’m a trained pathology collector, with training in placing cannulas), for a biologic medication, until it came in a subcutaneously deliverable format (like how insulin is delivered).
hopefully they would send someone out to help you at home if that is what you’d prefer 💜🌺

I think your attitude is a choice. When I was diagnosed my family said unkind things. Right then I made my choice! I was like - well I am going to
live my best life possible with this illness. After that I met my hubby, got married and had 3 wonderful children. We have raised them successfully to adulthood and they never had to go into care. I am proud of the way my life has turned out. I try to be a nice person and I think it’s all going ok. My hubby and I love each other very much and we will celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary this year. See how attitude makes you successful?

So true @Oaktree . We all have struggles but it's about how we end up managing these.

I wonder what the temp actually got to here today? It’s saying max of 43 but it’s 43.9 right now at 5pm so it must have been hotter in the middle of the day
