Pride Month isn’t just about looking back—it’s also about imagining forward.
So let’s get dreamy, radical, and bold!
What would a Queer utopia look like to you?
Forget the limits of what “seems possible” for right now. In your ideal world:
Whether your queer utopia is full of rainbows in windows and genderless stars, or simply a world where nobody has to explain who they are—we want to hear it!
Feel free to write a short story, post a list, share a drawing, or even drop three words that capture your queer dream world. Get creative!
Let’s build something beautiful together 😊🌈

Three words
No judgment
Complete acceptance
Everyone equal.
I think the perfect world would be that everyone is accepted for who they are not what is expected. No need for people to ‘come out’ as everyone is accepted

@Jynxa safe place where I can be me and I don't have to mask, I don't have to hide, or wear other people's expectations. There's no pressure to conform and no one telling me how to actually, how to talk, or who to be. It would be a place of acceptance, and empathy and support.

@Patches59 @MissinTooth @Captain24 omg yes yes a THOUSAND TIMES YES!!
Biggest theme so far seems to be acceptance 😊 I love that - accepting someone exactly as they are can be very powerful indeed 💜

Thanks heaps @Jynx ❤️
I love the concept of dreaming for a future. Someone asked me what a queer utopia would look like for me the other day actually, and for me it's really simple but also kinda complex.
I love having a month to celebrate the rainbow community, everything we've overcome and everything we're still fighting for. HOWEVER, I wish we didn't need to still be fighting for our rights or our existence. So for me, a queer utopia would be a world where Pride Month wasn't NEEDED, other than to acknowledge the past. It would just be a world where who you love or how you identify isn't something that needs to be overtly acknowledged, because we all just understand that gender and sexuality diversity is a part of being a human.
So my dream queer utopia really does align with @Patches59 @Captain24 and @MissinTooth; it's really linked with acceptance ❤️
I view it in the same way as I view neurodiversity; that brains are diverse and unique and infinite, and that there shouldn't be one dominant way of being.
To finish off Pride Month, I made these three bracelets for @Jynx, @RiverSeal and myself. I've loved collaborating on this series this month. It reminds me of how important connecting with people in the queer community is for me and my mental health 🌈

Hey @Jynx, thanks for this great thread for Pride Month 🏳️🌈
Love the friendship bracelets for Pride Month @0ddsidian!! I'm going to wear mine all July while I have some time off 🙂
Queer utopia for me would be people not misgendering me when I am clearly a transgender woman and obiously don't want to be the gedner I was assigned at birth. Seriously, it's not that hard!!
People not presuming my gender by the sound of my voice on the phone, and asking how I identify!! Common courtesy, shawly!!
People close to me not using their privelige to be discrimitory because they have challenges with my gender identiy. It wouldn;t happen in the workplace so why is it allowed in our personal lives!!
People just accepting my gender identity and being respectful and polite because if I was abusive back to them I would look bad in their eyes!! Acceptance while not understanding is not that hard 🙂
There is a lot that the cis gender world can learn from people who are trans and gender diverse and we have been around for ever and are not going away. 🏳️⚧️
Thanks again for this great thread!!
Take care
RiverSeal ❤️
