So last year when I was homeless I connected in with this agency. 

Earlier this year I started getting more involved, going to their activities. 

I learned that there's this nationwide company that do free haircuts for people connected with homelessness companies. 

My case manager got me involved. 

I turned up today and got told that I didn't belong there by a member of the staff that works with my case manager. 

I was simply helping the hair dresser, getting extension leads and tools for her while also helping the facilitator figure out the tech, because we were both confused. 

I wanted to just leave, told that I'm not a rough sleeper and don't belong there.

@avant-garde Thank you for sharing this with me, that must have been so, so vulnerable. I am really sorry to hear this is what happened... especially when you put yourself out there to help and support others. How did the day end? And have you talked about this with your case manager?

I got my playing cards, messaged my case manager a bunch of times, I haven't exactly told her what happened, I suspect her colleague told her... I don't know...

Oh but let's clarify, I wasn't actually there to help, I was on the list to get my hair cut
