I haven't had any Swans helping with weeding (recently).
But I have had several (not just one) Tree pruning services (tradesmen) - canvassing (asking) for work, over the last 2 days.
At $500 to $1000 per job. So I'm not in a hurry to engage their services.
They charge like wounded Bulls...

@Faith-and-Hope... pretty. There's a little bit of everything there.
Garden has survived the heat of the day- yay. Even the freshly planted sunflower seedlings seem to be OK. I'd watered pot plants and a few young plants yesterday, and went around this evening to refresh anything that looked a bit heatstruck. A persimmon I planted last year was a bit wilty. They really don't like hot wind. But I think it will pull through.
One of the bunnies had tipped over her water bowl at some point. She was over in a flash for a long drink the moment I refilled it.
Fruit trees are starting to ripen. Not really heavy crops this year, and the birds and possums are racing me for what's there, but we've had some apricots and cherry plums, a few blood plums (more coming of all those) and the first peaches are nearly ripe. We had redcurrants at Christmastime (I still have some in the fridge waiting for me to turn them into jelly or something). Elderberries are getting there, and there's half grown apples on the trees- also being sampled by possums who have no idea about waiting until they're ripe. Grrr!

Sounds beautiful @Smc ......
Wild rabbits all over the place at my Dad’s .... digging up the lawn looking for moisture from heavy dew.

Just thought I'd drop by here and mention my own pride at growing tomatoes! I was able to add them to a salad and everything!
