SANE'S INNOVATE RAP - What does reconciliation look like in our community?

Re: SANE'S INNOVATE RAP - What does reconciliation look like in our community?

absolutely!! and love that you want to learn and engage more too @MissinTooth thank you for sharing. speaking of teaching and schools, this actually reminded me of an interactive series i watched at school - i wonder if schools still encourage kids to watch this: Dust Echoes - ABC Education this is a much more updated version than the one i watched but i imagine that it's still got powerful storytelling's. if anyone on here wants to check it out, feel free to do so, i might rewatch them too!

@Faith-and-Hope intergenerational trauma is so much more complex than some realise and as you've mentioned, holding space for that healing process is so important. appreciate you sharing 💙

 I love how intelligent and insightful and thought provoking his art is.

For about 10 years the main cinema I watched was from indigenous directors. It mirrored my connection with country and disconnection with comfortable middle class lifestyle and people who couldn’t see beyond it.

@rav3n

The symbol / Animal that resonates with me is the Waakal (rainbow serpent) that formed our mountains and waterways
